Optimised U support mounting thanks to new BW special fastening bracket

OBO has now produced a special fastening bracket as a new option for mounting cable support structures with U supports. Slender, discreet and yet highly flexible, this is the BW fastening bracket. A simple component which can, however, make life on the construction site considerably more simple. Designed especially for the mounting of all standard OBO U supports, the fastening bracket can be used to master many different challenges during the mounting of support structures. In particular, it is the perfect special solution for sloping roofs. Thanks to the slot holes in the bracket, which are used for fastening on the U support, it is possible to mount the U support flexibly so that it is always aligned straight. The fastening bracket is available in two different, highly stable versions:

• BW US 3/5 fastening bracket for the US 3 and US 5 U supports
• BW US 7 fastening bracket with additional reinforcements for the heavy-duty US 7 support

One fastening bracket is fastened to each side of the U support using hexagonal bolts, washers and nuts. The fastening material is contained in the scope of delivery. The fastening bracket is suitable for both vertical and horizontal installations. The new bracket is machined from hot-dip galvanised steel. The fastening bracket represents another intelligent and effective solution, which successfully complements the comprehensive OBO Bettermann portfolio for individual support structures.
